1. It's always tough for state employees

when those fools in the legislature are meeting.

Damn the Hatch Act anyway. Sometimes I just want to get out some official letterhead and on my government issued computer, fire off an angry letter to the legislature.

Of course, I'd settle for just being allowed to unionize.

3. My frustration has nothing to do with the idiots under the dome.
Just my job in general. I need to be doing something else. I can feel the life force draining from my body on a daily basis.

5. Good luck GOPisEvil
It's a tough job market out there. There was a recent posting at UT for a producer for Latino USA radio show. You didn't have to be bi-lingual. Salary wasn't great and it did have great benefits.

UT jobs aren't as bad as other state jobs.

10. Policy analysis...data analysis...report generating...
I've been a state government guy for 13 years. I've also written training manuals and presented training.

Thanks! :hi:

17. I work for a company called Harte-Hanks
We're up in the Pflugerville area. We're just about always hiring. Depends on your skill set, but it wouldn't hurt to throw a resume our way.

PM me if interested and I'll give you more details.
