"Race" for the White House - Saturday, May 15th

Come out to Auditorium Shores on Saturday, May 15th at 10am and help us continue to build momentum for John Kerry!! One of the most important things we can do in this campaign is SHOW OUR SUPPORT. On a beautiful Saturday in May, more than 5,000 people travel through the hike and bike trail. Our goal is simple: Show them that Austin is "Kerry Country." We'll take a 30-45 minute walk around Town Lake, followed by picnic. There is no registration fee -- the only requirement is that you wear a John Kerry for President T-Shirt. Shirts will be available at the event for $10.

1. Get fit for Kerry

Hey great idea. I hope Kerry is getting a piece of the T-shirt sales too. The weather has been so great that this will be a great walk. There is a slight chance of rain for Saturday 30% but maybe it will happen real early.

We need a DU banner for our local events.

2. New Date and Time!

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Austin Parks and Rec. Dept. has asked that we move our walk to Sunday, May 16th @ 11am

3. Stevie Ray Vaughn meet up

I like the whole idea of touching base with Stevie Ray too.
