Uhm, is everyone okay?

Over an hour ago it was pitch black here, there's hail everywhere, the skies rumbled non stop for 20 minutes, and it's still thundering. It was raining and hailing so hard (wind included) that we couldn't see through it. The next band will be here in an hour and a half or so.

Hubby and I went to see a relative in Ringgold today and we drove Ooltewah-Georgetown road (lots of trees down) into the town of Ringgold. The media focused on Ringgold high school, but the town on one side is demolished. That side of town is about a mile from where the relative lives. On the way back it was obvious where the tornado went up a ridge on its' way into Collegedale and Apison.

Enough of this!!

With help I may be able to have a bowel movement in 2-3 days.

edit: this sounds as if it's headed into Bradley Co. and Meigs may get the first part before all hail broke loose here.

2. We had another nasty storm the very next day, and we're in the
midst of another one. Things that were on the front porch are now in the back, lots of broken stuff, including tree limbs, the mr. was called into work...

If I wanted to put up with this crap I'd move to OK, KS, NE...enough already, but there is no change in the climate.:sarcasm:

3. my husband was on a boat on the Tennessee River
he rode out the worst of the storm at the boat dock, and was very glad he wasn't too far away. The waves were fierce.
