Bush expected in Nashville for Republican fund-raiser

A $2,000-per person-reception honoring President Bush is scheduled for 5 p.m. May 27 at the home of Cathy and Clay Jackson, 5819 Hillsboro Road, with proceeds to benefit the Republican National Committee (RNC) Presidential Trust.

These fundraisers support the RNC Victory 2004 campaign, which promotes party building and “get out the vote” efforts to elect Republicans up and down the ticket. Donors for the RNC event can give up to $25,000 each.

I expect the area to be sealed off, hermetically. This is out past Tyne Blvd. On a weekday, too, that's going to piss off commuters.
