Bandy: South rises again with Kerry’s VP choice
South rises again with Kerry’s VP choice

By LEE BANDY
Staff Writer

Democrat John Kerry, who once said he could win the presidency without the South, has tapped a smooth-talking Southern populist to help him get to the White House.

He is none other than South Carolina native John Edwards, now serving as a freshman U.S. senator from neighboring North Carolina.

By selecting Edwards to be his running mate, presidential candidate Kerry hopes to inject vigor into the campaign and bring small-town appeal to the Democratic ticket.

1. Everyone should read this article to get a taste of Lee Bandy's "skills"
Which amount to stating the obvious as shallowly as possible. Then remember that when he is brought on CNN as an expert in Souther politics.
