Problems or Concerns with Voting on SC machines?
The Ivotronics machines count the vote in complete secrecy, and yet the South Carolina Constitution specifically states in the articles on suffrage that the votes will be "cast in secret but not counted in secret." If anyone wants to inquire about organizing lawsuits to challenge secret vote counting in SC, there's information at www.projectvotecount.com (see south carolina election news link too)

2. Also why were the primaries held on Saturday?
those practicing the Jewish Sabbath could not vote til after sundown on Saturday. It seemed real prejudicial and not right. Who makes these decisions? The SC Election Commission?

3. Shortly after the 1776 Revolution, in South Carolina both freed blacks as well as Jews couldn't vote
So you raise a somewhat interesting question in light of history in SC.
