Any mid-staters listen to Bob Durgin on WHP 580?
I like Bob. I know he's a conservative (supposedly) and I really don't agree with his take on national politics.

But when it comes to local issues...I consider him a valuable voice. He's not afraid to cross party lines on local issues or take stances untypical of conservatives...

He's pretty fair to guests from the other side, too. And, he has a subtle way of annoucing his disagreement with the party line. Like his recurring "Should we legalize refer?" poll.

Not sure if he on any other stations anymore? I think one out of Allentown carried the show for a while...

which is only for 10 - 15 minutes tops.

I usually disagree with him regarding anything related to government or politics - in fact, whenever we agree I am instantly filled with self-doubt.

One thing I admire about him is he is willing to say "I don't know" when he doesn't know. That's refreshing.

Also, he has a great voice for radio.
