1. Newspaper article
Excerpts from Harrisburg Patriot-News article on this matter:

www.pennlive.com

"An example of some of the tweets that appear on the @CasaBlancaPA account include accusations that Corbett mixes campaign work with taxpayer business and that Corbett allegedly attempts to intimidate people who ask questions about campaign ethics.

Corbett is a witness in a federal lawsuit that alleges Corbett fired a Attorney General's office attorney/whistleblower who accused Corbett's Financial Enforcement Section of awarding contracts to collection agencies that improperly cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

Corbett was deposed in the case, which is scheduled for pre-trial hearings in the coming weeks"

3. Now everyone will read the blog of Corbett's best critic
http://casablancapa.blogspot.com/

Corbett will face international ridicule over the next couple weeks for this move. He also will cause tens of thousands of people to visit what was a little-known blog run by Corbett's number one critic.

I love it when a plan comes together.

I hope he can handle the web traffic.

4. But you know when it comes down to it...
40+% of the state's voters would vote for him ANYWAY, no matter what he did, lest they commit an even bigger sin and vote for a (scowl)Democrat(wretch).

Don't kid yourselves here!

5. Your right about that...
PA Repubs are amongst the staunchest "believers" - I work for and with a whole bunch of them. Trying to have a political conversations with them is quite painful. It's all email rumors, bumper stickers and heresay.... I mock them unmercilously to thier face - it's quite entertaining

6. I worked with a lot of them, too...one of them believes the Soviet Union
is still in existence - they are just PRETENDING to have collapsed to trick the US into giving up our missiles, etc....

We grow some real dumbasses locally...

8. He has a really good job - better paid by far than mine was - and appears to be
a normal human...all his teeth and everything...it's just hard to tell. And he certainly is not open to having his mind changed - he would think you were a commie spy...

9. Corbett is now facing problems with the ACLU-re: first amendment:Link-
Story from Allentown's WFMZ News:

http://www.wfmz.com/news/23628124/detail.html

Corbett seems determined to make a real ass of himself, and is doing a great job so far...he may get a lot of the white/RW vote, but we can still beat him soundly - he has NO BUSINESS in public office at all, certainly not as Governor.

I don't much like Onorato, but I would vote for him any time over Corbett...and I will.

10. Except from the CasablancaPA blog
here's an excerpt from the CasablancaPA blog:

"What does Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Corbett do when he thinks no one is looking?

He accepts a campaign contribution from a political operative he claims is under investigation.

He allows a political operative ostensibly under investigation to organize a fund raiser for him.

He allows another supposed target of investigation to host another fund raiser for him.

He and his campaign manager meet privately with a politician he claims is under investigation.

He allows his taxpayer-funded state Attorney General staff to initiate and accept hundreds of calls, on state phones and on state time, to and from his campaign staff.

He allows a sitting cabinet member to ignore a subpoena.

He green-lights the disposal of computers that supposedly contain evidence in a supposed investigation.

He parks political operatives in taxpayer-funded jobs at the Office of Attorney General.

He overlooks clear evidence of wrongdoing in the office of a Republican district attorney and political ally.

He sweeps under the rug rape allegations against another Republican district attorney and political ally.

He grants someone secret immunity and subsequently ignores a mountain of evidence against the most obvious suspect in the investigation he claims to be conducting."
