Obama's Schedule for Northeast PA on Tuesday
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 02:44 PM by JPZenger
From www.Scrantontimes.com:

"Obama will host two open town hall meetings on Tuesday, at Wilkes University's Marts Center and at the Dunmore Community Center.

Lackawanna County Commissioner Corey O'Brien, an Obama supporter, said Sunday that doors will open at 9:45 a.m. for the first event at the Arnaud C. Marts Sports and Conference Center, 274 South Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre.

Tickets are free and can be obtained at Luzerne County's Obama campaign headquarters, 41 South Main St., Wilkes-Barre. For more information on the event, call 825-6794.

Details for the Dunmore event at 1414 Monroe Ave. are still being worked out, but doors are tentatively scheduled to open at 1 p.m., Mr. O'Brien said. Tickets for the second event also are free and can be obtained at Lackawanna County's Obama campaign headquarters, 114 Wyoming Ave., Scranton. For more information, call 877-3855."

----

The Penn State event attracted 22,000. The Allentown event on Monday at Muhlenberg College may not have any tickets left. There was a long line before the office door opened this morning, and many seats are reserved for Muhlenberg College students. You can check at the Allentown office for Obama on the 1200 block of Linden St., Allentown

The Forum in Harrisburg event tonight (Sunday) no longer has tickets left.

The Philadelphia event on Wed. afternoon has not yet been announced. Wed. evening he will at West Chester University on MSNBC live. sorry, no tickets left.

One source said Obama will probably come back for another trip with rallies that can hold many more people. This particular trip is more of a "charm offensive" as MSNBC said.
