Priest Arrested, Threatens State Cop - DeNaples Investigation of Slots Licenses

The above link is about how a Priest who is closely tied to Louis DeNaples has been arrested for perjury. After his arrest, the Priest allegedly threatened the State cop with retribution from one of DeNaples' employees.

DeNaples is the richest man in Northeast PA and received a slots license for a complex in the Poconos. The Republican DA from the Harrisburg area has been investigating whether there were any improprieties in DeNaples receiving the license. Questions have arisen about ties to the mob by some of the persons involved, and whether there was a complete investigation of DeNaples before the license was granted.

Some people say that this is more of an attempt to embarrass Dems before the next Governors election. Whether there is fire behind the smoke remains to be seen.
