Gordie Ducks McCain
http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/8/13/181236/828

"Gordon Smith was one of John McCain's earliest supporters in the senate and was listed as one of McCain's Oregon co-chairs as early as November, 2006. But now that he's in a tough battle to retain his seat and on a mission to distance himself from anything resembling a Republican, Smith is withdrawing as honorary Oregon co-chair of the McCain campaign."

I want to see more of this in the local news. How can we help keep Smith from untying himself from McCain?

1. I'd so like to be done with him...
His negative ads against Merkley are as obnoxious as anything I have ever seen, and even my (R) boss laughs at his "positive" ads about how he worked with Kerry and Obama on some legislation or other and said "No!" to Bush on some other legislation.

Anyone with a spare brain cell for memory knows what he is doing this year - peddling his phony ass to the demographics to stay alive one more time around.
