Anyone else seen this around?
For the past few months, Ive been watching cars here in Portland. I have as yet to see a single McCain sticker or sign.

Today I did, however, see my first Anti-Obama Sign. Some POS had a home printed "OSAMA * OBAMA" "whats the difference?" sign in the window of his car. I saw him in NE.

It came, apparently at the wrong time for me. I get mad about once a year, and this was it. The man (and I) was lucky that I had a client with Dementia sitting in my car, directly between me and him, or I might have done something very uncharacteristic and destructive.

Just WTF.

1. Don't get over to Gresham much?
Where ignorance prevails, one finds stickers like the one you saw (or the variant of it: OBama/OSama--the only difference is a little "BS"). McCain and the Repugs still have a stranglehold on the voters who dare not think for themselves.

2. Thats the one
I find that very odd. I actually work about 3 days a week out in troutdale and gresham. And thats the first time I had seen it. I haven't seen them out in Sandy or up the mountain, not even out in fundamentalist Newberg.

3. I finally saw some McCain signs
After not seeing ANY signs or bumper stickers for McCain anywhere around Portland or even on a trip down to Silverton, I saw 1 yard sign on Sauvie island & 2 in one yard in Milwaukie. Also, one bumper sticker in Milwaukie. (I think McCain signs may become collectible because of their scarcity). Also saw one anti-Obama sticker: "NObama".... By contrast, I've seen zillions of Ron Paul signs/stickers...

I saw my very first ever McCain sign. Out in forest grove, I believe.

I also saw a second car with anti-obama stuff. mostly about how the soldiers want to be in Iraq, and people need to let them alone because it would be wrong to take them out of where they want to be. The biggest lettering was devoted to "OBAMA IS A FAD". To which I thought, as long as it is an 8 year fad to be followed by a true progressive left wing type president, sure.
