I bring to your attention that many of us completely missed the fact that last Saturday was the 1st of the month, (and I totally missed hangin' with you guys) :hug: ; therefore, I propose that we move on ReaderRabbit's suggestion of meeting on the 15th, perhaps incorporating a fairly wild pub crawl through the Woodstock neighborhood.

I further propose that we go with Cerridwen's subtly veiled suggestion that it should incorporate much beer in a smoky warm bar somewhere out of the elements and away from the crowds.

Keeping in mind many of our beloved fellow Oregon DU'ers preference for clean air and clean tables whilst subversively planning the downfall of the Repuglican War Machine, I propose the following...

5pm (or so) we gather at Lucky Lab, Goose Hollow or one of the other reputable establishments where we have been known to congregate.
*Much stimulating political discourse ensues, accompanied by fine food and drink.

8-10pm (or so) the more adventureous members of the group could possibly venture out into the shadowy establishments of Woodstock after the official gathering…
*Much could ensue. No personal data will be recorded, no cameras allowed.

Seriously, though, I doubt my stamina and ability to stay up late. We could, of course, skip Woodstock. It's just that there are some really dive-y places around here that I've been dying to check out, but I'm too much of a chicken to do it alone.

Still, it's not as if the pubs are going anywhere.

It's pretty much the most famousest of the seedy dives that dot the Woodstock neighborhood, populated mostly by dour locals and tormented Reed seniors, we could work our way down from there. Easily reached by the #19 bus from east-west directions, or the #71 (and a few others) from the north-south.
