The 48-year-old court reporter is increasingly known for her willingness to take on the governor and other power brokers, alienate fellow Democrats and risk her reputation to carry out her one-woman crusades.

1. I knew her and worked with her somewhat.
All I will say is that you treaded very carefully around her.
