Another School Shooting in Rural Oregon
Update 8: Teen Is Shot Four Times at Ore. School
02.23.2006, 07:22 PM

A teenager shot and wounded another student at school Thursday, then fled to a restaurant, where he put the gun to his head before surrendering, police said.

The shooter, who police said was a 14-year-old freshman, was arrested shortly after the attack at Roseburg High.

The school went into lockdown after the shots were fired about 7:45 a.m.

The victim, identified as Joseph Monti, 16, was shot twice in the abdomen and once in the chest. A bullet also grazed his left elbow, said Kathleen Nickel, spokeswoman for Mercy Medical Center

4. Yes, it was in LBN, but was moved here, I'm not sure why.
It just seemed really quiet that night, maybe they moved it because nobody was responding to it

5. a bad egg?
Perhaps, since the adult society doesn't seem to be able to decide what to do about the bad eggs, and death, to national leaders, means nothing, the youth today feel they are cornered by the "bad ones".
It is a sorry day when we can't keep our youth safe, from themselves, or a government that would let them all die!
