Do you think that Bob Taft pled "no contest" so that he could avoid
being called on to testify - therefore, they could ask other questions about the other "shady dealings" that likely have his fingerprints all over them?

1. obviously.
he still gets counted as "guilty" and pays the fine, BUT THE INVESTIGATION GOES AWAY before they uncover something juicier.
