Bush plans Kirtland stop to pitch Social Security Friday,April 15th
President Bush is taking his pitch for reforming Social Security to Northeast Ohio next Friday, when he will stop in Kirtland, the White House said. The roundtable discussion is scheduled for 1:50 p.m. at Lakeland Community College in Lake County.

Events such as this often are not open to the public, but details were not known Friday night.

Bush is just past the middle point of his 60-day, 60-city tour to promote personal Social Security accounts as a key part of fixing Social Security...

1. "not open to the public".... or..
not open to dissenting opinions? I'm betting on the later. A hand picked group of bushbots from the Lakeland Community College or people of the same ilk.

2. Bush's technique for his Social Security promotions are almost
...like Landmark Forum group awareness conditioning and modification sessions.

"I don't get it," one trainee once told trainer Stewart Emery during a New York est session.

"Good," Emery replied. "There's nothing to get so you got it."

"I get it," the trainee said, as a broad grin slid across her face "So getting it is whatever you get."

"If that's what you got."

3. MoveOn.org says call Congressman Latourette's office to get tickets
I got this from MoveOn.org . We need to call to get tickets, and
reveal how they exclude people.

Dear MoveOn member.

Hi – this is Adam Green from MoveOn PAC.

I wanted to be in touch with you regarding a special project
happening this week in Kirtland – President Bush is coming to
town
this Friday, and we are pushing back hard.

In recent weeks, as Bush has gone state to state, he has severely
restricted access to his events to only his hard-core supporters.
When non-supporters have shown up for his events Republican staffers
have kicked them out. Finally, the media has started reporting on
this phenomenon and Bush is taking a lot of criticism. (See column
below.)

There are reporters in the media who are interested in finding out
if Bush is improperly excluding people from his Kirtland, OH event
this Friday based solely on their viewpoints. Congressman Steve
LaTourette's office is in charge of handing out tickets – and
there
are only about 100 of them.

I wanted to see if you could call Congressman Steve LaTourette's
office and request tickets to Bush's events. It is also
important
to ask on the phone who is in charge of selecting who gets tickets,
and getting as much info on possible as the ticket distribution
process. LaTouretter's Painesville office is at (440) 352-3939.

If you could give a call, that would make a huge difference. I look
forward to hearing the results.

Thanks for all that you do.

Adam Green
