Guess what? Wall Street John Kasich gives $54 million dollar bribe,
er, financial aid (taxpayer $$$) to Diebold ... to keep it in Ohio (in an undisclosed location)

no new jobs promised ... (similar deal struck with bankrupt Republican Bernie Kosar's American Greetings)

Guess the re-election is in the bag, along with the vote against the recall ...

Diebold Inc. plans to build a new world headquarters at an undisclosed location in Northeast Ohio.

...
Media outlets reported today that the state offered about $56 million in incentives including tax credits and loans for Diebold to stay.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is scheduled to visit Diebold at 1:15 p.m.

3. Haven't You Heard? Kasich Is Getting SB 5 Whether We Want It Or Not
He's already come out and said that if the referendum goes through (which it will), and if the people of Ohio vote it down (which they will, overwhelmingly), he's already got a plan in place on how he's STILL going to get all the things in SB 5. He's going to tack all the provisions of SB 5 onto his Budget Bill next year. Yeah, those Republicans are ALL about "We the People," aren't they?

5. I've noted here at DU that
he already was putting the plan in action that would block the ability to have the voters have their say on the union bill.

4. Sounds similar to Bob Evans
Although way more expensive. Bob Evans took a several million dollar "incentive" to stay in Ohio (supposedly they were moving to TX or something stupid like that). After they received the money, it was reveled they were just moving their headquarters less than 3 miles from its current location.

Kasich is also hemming and hawing with the Casinos. The investors are getting nervous and are talking about backing out. Just another kick-in-the-pants for Ohioans.
