So my Ohio DU friends, I need some suggestions for the fine city of Cleveland...
I have a friend that is going to the Rock and Roll HOF in 2 weeks and I was wondering what quirky, Cleveland-only local places there would be to send her to see.

Here in Milwaukee we have a few places with nifty themes like The Safe House which is a 1960s Spy Themed Bar/Restaurant with tons of hidden passage ways and such... or there are just some really nifty places to eat you can't find elsewhere like Kopps Frozen Custard or Organ Piper Pizza, etc...

What places do you like to go and see and or stop in at during your visits to Cleveland? Doesn't have to be a bar or restaurant... just some unique suggestions will do.

Thanks!

1. One of the hippest, hottest places is Melt
Melt specializes in gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and has a huge beer selection. The biggest
problem is getting in. The wait can be as long as two hours. Be there when it opens at 11 and you
should be able to get seated quickly. They are opening a second location in Cleveland Heights on
May 21.

Truly a Cleveland landmark. The surrounding neighborhood is eclectic and interesting as well.

6. The Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland is somewhat unique
Large neon guitar adorns the street in front of Tower City shopping center. Hard Rock Cafe is located on West Huron Rd. over looking the once burning Cyahoga River.
