The Bible says make a JOYFUL noise
I've heard it all now. I don't go to church anymore, but I might just go on down there and join. What is wrong with people. We've got people slaughtering innocents and a President and Vice President raping the American people and these people can't sing?!!!!! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. Where have our brains and hearts gone. We are losing our humanity. Come on.

Residents Upset About Church Noise
Northeast
Apr 26 2007 7:16AM
MASSILLON, Ohio - Neighbors who live near a local church want the members to pipe down. They claim the congregation sings too loud.

We wanted to see what the fuss was all about so we dropped in Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ the Warrior King in Massillon.

Members said they've made sure the windows are shut and the doors are closed in an effort to keep the noise in. But neighbors said it's not enough.

They've signed a petition asking the city to enforce the noise ordinance to make the congregation keep it down after 8:30 p.m.

The battle over noise started a year ago when the congregation first moved into the 53-year-old church.

"We're extremely happy that someone's in the church," said Christina Winters, a neighbor. "They take very good care of it. It's being used. They're all nice people it's just a matter of the noise."

Senior Pastor Troy Sowell said he doesn't believe in whispering in church.

"He spared our lives some of would have died if it hadn't been for god so we're not going to come in his house and whisper praise and thanksgiving."

Another issue neighbors want addressed is the noise at night when the members are leaving the church.

Both sides seem to be hopeful that they can reach a compromise before the city has to step in to settle the dispute.

1. unless
they're blasting Bibletallica or whatever the Christian metal groups are called after 11, I don't see why they'd have much of a complaint; i mean, how loud can voices alone be, and how much later after 8:30 do they go?

Well, I guess I don't knwo the facts, but it seems a little ridiculous
