Educate me about some of the other Ohio races
We've heard about the Governor's, Senate and congressional races in Ohio, but I am also interested in the other statewide and legislative races. How are Democrats doing? Can Democrats retake the Secretary of State's office, enabling them to be in charge of vote counting in 2008? What about the legislature? Will the legislature remain Republican?

Except Betty Montgomery(Attorney General) who might be the sole hold out.

7. I just met with Marc Dann at the Dayton, Ohio Rally....
Actually, I've known him for several years....but I'll tell you this, he had his pulse on the Coingate issue from the beginning and assisted and facilitated the exposure of the Noe Crime Scam....He investigated it along with the Toledo Blade reporting it! He exposed Noe for his arrogance from the get-go as Noe called the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation fund as his "ATM" machine.

Marc Dann is most worthy and needs to be our Attorney General. Bette Boop Montgomery just rubber-stamps the republican crime families deeds.

3. Emily Kreider (D) leading incumbent David Goodman (R) for state Sen.
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 12:35 PM by nascar55
Franklin Co. Emily Kreider (D)Westerville is leading incumbent David Goodman (R) New Albany by 1%. The poll is for the State Senate race in Ohio's 3rd Dist. ( Eastern third of Franklin Co.). Also I hear Strickland has a big lead over Blackwell in the 3rd Ohio Senate Dist.

4. The Republican's
Hold 22 of the 33 seats in the Ohio Senate at this time. The thinking is the Dem's could pick up 3 seats in that chamber.......The Republican's will hold on to the house and senate in Ohio but the Dem's will make some inroads.....somthing to build on in 08 and 10......

5. Not to mention gaining the Governorship
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 02:20 PM by adeshell
There is a lot of weight on Ted's shoulders if elected. I believe if he is an effective governor, then the Dems will make further gains in 08 and 10.

So nascar, are you her husband or friend or something? :D
