Ohio Restoration Project won't let Homophobic lie regarding Strickland die
"Here's a bizarre postscript to the story we brought you last week about the Republican operative who was fired by the Ohio GOP for sending out an email questioning Ted Strickland's churchgoing record and floating speculation that Strickland and wife are gay.

It seemed like the story would end there. But it hasn't.

Now we're hearing from one Reverend Russell Johnson, a prominent Republican pastor who happens to be the e-mail author's old boss at the conservative Ohio Restoration Project. Rev. Johnson still isn't satisfied.

Rev. Johnson is insinuating that if the Stricklands really weren't gay, why, they'd file a lawsuit and go to court so they could prove it and clear their good name. Until that happens, Johnson says, he's "withholding judgment" on the Stricklands' sexuality."

It's not like Johnson is going to vote for Strickland or anything, so why is he soooooo concerned about Strickland and his wife?

1. of course they won't
they are still hoping that the whisper campaign will take hold. Johnson doesn't think for a minute that it is true, but he's trying to use BS "common sense logic.... " to try and spread the rumor. It's very, very transparent.

The Republicans seem to be good at spreading propaganda with BS Logic... To the Republicans: If a lie is spread about a person it must be true if that person doesn't take legal action??? Are you serious? Aren't you the same party that cries about frivolous lawsuits? So if I say Bush is Satan, and he doesn't file a law suit.. does that mean he IS Satan? (same logic)

Or, maybe we should just say that Johnson is a power hungry, opportunist that exploits and cheapens Christianity and..... he drown some kittens when he was 12, he actually worships Satan when he is alone and once did a strip tease to "I'm too sexy" ... can he prove it isn't true?

2. How about a Whisper Campaign of our own....
Maybe others can help me out....but hasn't Blackwell attended Bohemian Grove north of San Fran?

There was young boy from Boys' Town in Nebraska that was supposedly killed there....even a republican congressman investigated it. I read about this a while back and I swear that Blackwell was involved somehow...can someone with good google skills help me out?

Thx.

5. yes
the despicable tactics of the R's need not be adopted as our own, nor should their misdeeds be an excuse to engage in similar tactics. That's their whole psychology--the "enemy" is evil and we have to beat them to the punch....
