16 Year old Rocky Point Biker on Way to Work Killed in Crash with Minivan
From Newsday

Daniel Mauricio Cornejo Carranza: Poor kid, only 16 years old and not even in 10th grade. Takes a crappy paying job at McDonald's to support his family, in particular his father who is going blind. Has to bike to work since his family cannot afford a car. And on Sunday morning, he gets hit and killed, clad in his uniform, by a careless driver who was driving with a suspended license.

So what is the lesson here. Some hard working son of immigrant parents, who sacrificed so much, has to die on his way to work because of a woman driving a minivan with a suspended license. And her penalty for killing this kid: possibly 30 days in jail and a $500 fine. Way to go justice.

I honestly do not know how people can believe that a merciful and oh so great God exists if he allows something like this to happen to such an innocent soul. Meanwhile, crusty old white businessmen who rob our country blind and war criminals who defy the Constitution continue to live on and on and on (And will likely die nice and warm in their beds when they are pushing 100, having never worked a single days worth of hard work in their life).

Its true. Only the Good die young.
