I am running for City Council in Newburgh and could use some DU love
Hello all you NY DU'ers! I am running for city council and have until 7-15-09 to collect 350 valid City of Newburgh Democratic Party members in order to qualify for placement on the 11-15-09 primary ballot. I have been endorsed by the Working Families Party and think that I can win the General Election if I can secure the Democratic Party Line. I am looking for NYS residents that are registered Democratic Party members. I am looking for people to come to Newburgh on the weekends to help out with the petition process.
