Suozzo is also financed by GOP and corporate enemies of Spitzer, backed by Schuker who sees Spitzer as a threat to his turf, for reasons beyond imagining.

2. I have heard about this.
I think Schumer truly likes Suozzi. I have seen Schumer at lots of Nassau County Dem events. Alan Hevesi and the Cuomo family like Suozzi too. Suozzi is a likeable, charismatic Democrat with a good track record.
