Would anyone here like to adopt our county?
Hello everyone! We're down here in North Carolina working as hard as we can to change our county from red to blue. We're in Cabarrus County, in the 8th District and our Representative is Robin Hayes. Our dem party here didn't have a permanent HQ or any of the organization that would go with a HQ for the 04 election. Very soon after, we made that our goal; start up a HQ to enable the organization of our precincts and be able to communicate with the dems in our county (and the independents, and really, we want a HQ for the people so Republicans who want something different are welcome too).

Does anyone here have experience with starting up a HQ for their local party? Or experience with fundraisers? Any information or help that can be passed on to us will be very much appreciated. Our web master taught himself to build a web page as he made ours and he says he's open to any suggestions for improvement on the page. You can check it out, follow the links to the 3 gentlemen who are running against Hayes, and forward it along to everyone you can. It's www.cabarrusdemocrats.org

Thanks!!!
