Couple of big-time Albuq. crooks busted (Iraq related)

The heads of a New Mexico construction company contracted to rebuild in Iraq are accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A federal search warrant says Neal Kasper and Bradley Christiansen, president and vice president of Laguna Construction Company, manipulated the bidding process and took kickbacks from a bloated contract.

They turn me off when they tell you something just to lead you to watch the 10:00PM news. Whenever I hear that I change the channel. Ch. 13 is the worst.

We don't ger the Journal here. Was curious because I was not aware that New Mexicans had gone to Iraq to cash in on the millions (billions) that were being doled out there.
