Can't vote.
I'm at college in New Orleans, registered for 2002 midterms, registered for this election, and never got an absentee ballot. I called up my parents, and my dad checked it out - they "can't find" my registration! I'm from Little Ferry in Bergen County, so I'm DEFINITELY worried that SOMETHING is going on there!

What's going on!

Later.

1. I won't be surprised, from other stories I have read, to see
major major actions needed nationwide to clarify college student voting. Repubs for sure want to screw this category....because young college students are the ones who will pay all the costs of the Repubs destruction of America...if you don't die in one of their imperialistic wars, you will have to pay, and pay, and pay for them.

(Sorry but I won't live long enough to pay off this much debt!)

3. Another problem is...
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 09:17 PM by robsul82
My dad and I both have the same name, I'm a junior. In the '02 midterms, actually, I got my ballot, filled it in straight ticket Democrat, and mailed it in. On Election Day, my mom and dad go to vote, and my dad's informed that he voted straight ticket Democrat by absentee. They just can't seem to figure out how two different people with the same name, one 49 and one 20, could POSSIBLY live at the same address.

Later.

4. Have your dad call your Steve Rothman's office immediately
He is the Congressman in your district who will put you in contact with the Bergen County Democrats. Since an absentee ballot must be returned by 8 pm on election day I don't know if it can be sent and returned to you in time so you must call first thing in the morning on Monday.
