I am moving to New Jersey in July (hopefully).
To East Orange, to be more specific. I've lived in Brooklyn for over 10 years and have been completely immersed in the progressive politics in New York.

What races should I be paying more attention to in New Jersey? Anyone want to catch me up?

Thanks.

3. East Orange.... great...
I'm 10 minutes west, in Montclair. Your County Freeholder will be Carol Clarke, she is excellent. In the house its either Payne(Excellent) or Pascrell (pretty OK). Most of the exciting races are else where, NJ4- NJ7- NJ11- NJ5. I hope to work in one of these races.

-The local DFA meets the 1st wed of the month @ Cryans Pub, in South Orange.

-Every Friday anti war protest, Church St. & BLoomfield ave, Montclair. 4:30 to 6pm.

-Every Sunday anti war protest 76 Broad St, Bloomfield, Bloomfield 7pm to 8pm.

5. Wow. Much appreciated.
We looked in South Orange, but couldn't afford it. We're first-time home buyers and found a new condo building in East Orange and look forward to meeting NJ DU-er's once we settle in. We were supposed to move next week, but the property doesn't have a Certificate of Occupancy yet, and they haven't submitted the Master Deed with the county. We're screwed for a month and will probably have to find a quick sublet and store our stuff. But, again, once we're settled, I'll come buy the Pub for a beer.

9. Ha ha ha! I lived there until 2 years ago. If you need any advice about
E.O. and the area, feel free to pm me. Right now I'm staying in Newark and looking for an apartment. I'm about three miles from Munn. I could end up there again PM me. What building are you moving into? I'll give you the skinny.
