I'm glad to see the so called cabinet that brought freedom to the world is being dismantled for even more Rightwing pyschos to take their spots...I wonder if Rumsfield resigned who'd take his spot...can't get more rightwinged than that evil hawk...

2. At least this appointment makes sense.
He grew up on a farm I believe. Will he help farmers?? bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Even if he wanted to they wouldn't let him. Now I suppose the Lt Governor will have a leg up in the next election. Oh well.

3. I was rather shocked
A Johanns-Nelson race would have been hotly contested. Unless Osborne decides he wants to be a Senator instead of a Governor, I can't see Nelson not retaining his seat.

4. Technically, Johanns could still run
he doesn't have to stay on the Cabinet for 4 years. But you're right, it doesn't quite make sense because in the very least Johanns just made his own job more difficult. Oh well!
