The GOP just lost control of Lincoln's city council
Before tonight's election it was 4-3 GOP, but now the Democratic Party has a 4-3 majority (and the mayor). Lancaster county (which Lincoln is inside of) voted Obama in 2008, which was the first time a Democratic presidential candidate had won the popular vote in this county since 1964.
