Talent is 88th -- where's our candidate?
According to a new poll by SurveyUSA, Jim Talent comes in at #88 in a list of all 100 senators ranked by their approval ratings.

Further, his "approval" is down 2 percent while "disapproval" is up 6 percent from last year.

This guy is beatable in 2006. We need someone to step up to the plate. It's time to build the groundwork. I know we've discussed names here before, but I'm just frustrated that no one has officially announced a run yet. The clock is ticking.

1. Have you talked to the State Democratic Party?
Usually they have a handle on the potential candidates. You are dead on, now is the time to begin campaigning...

3. The only problem, as I see it, is that the Missouri Sec of State,

the person responsible for counting and varifying and finalizing the votes in any state election, is a repuke. That means the repub candidate will win the election.

Call me a tin-foil looney, but I'm convinced that repuke Secs of State were installed in their offices to ensure that the elections go the "right" way.
