The recreation center meeting hall was standing room only, and I saw a lot of people from the Kucinich campaign, including DUer wheresthemind, in attendance.
Mark explained covered a lot of ground in his talk, and I wish I could have taken notes, but he's obviously found himself, and the audience responded well, especially when he talked about his opposition to the Iraq War and being one of only three senators to vote against the confirmation of John Negroponte to run Iraq.
He told about being in the same Yale fraternity with Bush back in the 1960s and joked that he told Republicans, "There were times when Bush and I were in the same party." He also said, "At these parties, I saw Bush assume positions that the Republicans would never imagine."
I came away pleased that Mark Dayton is representing us and that he is speaking out on the issues.
