1. Let's cut the Senate's per diem during the session.
Actually, let's elect a new Senate and Assembly in the next election - this time a Democratic one.

3. I'd prefer we elect a House and Senate that leans more to the Famer-Labor wing of the DFL n/t

5. No. Write the paper and email the tv Stations. Meals on Wheels is an
effort of people donating their time. The meals allow people to be checked on also to make sure they are ok.
We need to vote these asses out. Please tell everyone you know about these things. Especially the elderly.

7. Meals on Wheels got compitition last year...
from at least one faith based group. That program delivered frozen meals once or twice a week. We usually have between 1-6 people living in our Senior Building at any one time who have their stoves disconnected because they forget to turn them off or nod off at any time, but are allowed microwaves and self stopping toaster ovens.

The reports were mixed on which was better but I do know that having three sets of people deliver is not cost effective.

9. Sen. David Hann: Incest victims
Another Hann proposal:

Incest victims should get judge's consent for medical attention

If a teenager is a victim of incest, Republican state Sen. Dave Hann of Eden Prairie says a judge's consent should be required before that teenager is allowed to seek medical attention, counseling, and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
Because parents, he believes, need more control over their teenager's bodies.
