Light plane? Nine iron? What's the difference? Pawlenty advocates violence against the government
from Pawlenty's appearance before the John Birch Society-sponsored CPAC convedntion:

10:35 AM -- Pawlenty: "Take a nine iron and smash a window out of big government." A day after a suicide bomber struck an IRS building after penning an anti-government manifesto, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty took up the theme of violence against the state -- albeit in a metaphorical way. He joked that the most important event going on in America on Friday is Tiger Woods' impending press conference. "We can learn a lot from that situation. Not from Tiger, but from his wife. So she said, 'I've had enough.' She said, 'No more,'" he said. "I think we should take a page out of her playbook and take a nine iron and smash a window out of big government in this country. We've had enough."

2. Sadly, the only "big government" windows Timmy wants smashed
are those that actually help people.

This is a new low for the stooge.

Thin Polenta was a RINO. Who knew he was a full-fledged winger? As soon as he started fantasizing about the White House, he took a sharp right turn. Now, he's vetoing health care for the destitute. The joke, however, will be on Polenta, in the end. He hasn't a prayer.

4. But wait, there's more
check out this thread about Timmy announcing "God is in charge" (if that were true, wouldn't the God many of us believe in have smited Timmy over GAMC)

You gotta wonder why these clods who claim to hate the government so much are so anxious to become the head of state? Do they ever see the contradiction?

9. They are blinded by the aura of Saint Reagan
"T-Paw" grew up idolizing St Ronnie. He is not alone in trying to be "holier than the Pope" like most of the modern GOP.

5. Bridge, Tim. Bridge.
Thirteen people.

Shut up, Tim.

(This is a condensed version of what I posted in GD about this)

13. I would pay dearly to see somebody say that to him in a public setting
A debate. The State Fair. His office. Anywhere.

Tim needs to be shut down. His "no new taxes" mantra has been an intolerable failure for this state, and I have nothing but a burning, seething anger to see him treated like a serious contender for 2012. Thirteen people are dead because Tim has been a hideous governor who cares about nobody but the whiny rich maggots who complain they're taxed too high, yet expect the roads to be fixed, the potholes to be filled, and the bridges to stay up.

8. All about playing to the fringe base
And the state is stuck in the middle of his pandering. We get needless hardball to impress out of state wingnuts.

11. You notice the SOB couldn't even come back to Minnesota to veto the GAMC bill?
He did it from CPAC.

Maybe we should amend the state Constitution so that the governor must be within the state's borders when vetoing legislation.

15. He was showing off his "NO-ness". He will likely be the nominee and people should be
informed that he does not work with the Democrats at all. He is an ass. He is more like "King Pawlenty". Reminds me of Bush a lot.

12. Where is Sheriff Ramsey ? Where is AG Gaertner?
Take a nine iron and smash a window out of big government."

I think Ramsey needs to get his riot cops and raid the Gov's house to make sure he isn't going to over though the county. Sounds like Terrorism to me.

Where's Gaertner? she needs to get out the MN Patriot act they used on those young adults a couple years ago. You don't have to try to hard to find him.

How about letting go the RNC 8 who didn't advocate violence, let alone violence against our goverment.
and instead try Governor Pawlenty.
