1. A fence post...
The freepers might be more excited voting for a post. If we run a human they'll freak and vote for Bachmann again.

2. Should Elwin run again?
I know it is hard with what happened last time. Are there any party-jumping moderate Republicans who were forced out in the Bachmann GOP Primary Purge who would get the moderate Republicans and only leave the nuts with the Bachmann camp?

3. Good question & is the DFL trying to find the answer?
She's really gotta go.

I'm sure fundraising (outside of her district, of course) will increase since the last election because she's done a great job of promoting herself nationwide.

I like El, but I don't know. My hunch is that another El run would be 'ho hum' and put her back in. I don't live in that district, but there MUST be SOMEone. Gotta be "moderate", I guess, to get some swing votes.

The DFL needs to seriously focus and have a strategy for that district to get her o-u-t.

4. April 6th is her birthday you know. On April 9th she is speaking at St. Cloud State
University at 1 p.m. in the Cascade Room at the Atwood Cntr. SHE IS HOSTING A FORUM ON CLIMATE CHANGE!!! BWWWWWAAAAHHHHHHAAAAHHHHHAAAAA! The guest speaker doesn't believe in climate change.

St. Cloud is in her District. With all the College students I am surprised she still wins but I think she pulls from her wealthier churchier area to the west a lot.

There has got to be someone to run against her. I don't think El would be so bad. He almost won. Very close indeed.
