Minneapolis power outage?
I just got an email saying that most of Minneapolis is without power right now - including all of downtown.

What is up with that? Can anybody confirm? I have electricity ...

1. funny you should ask!
I was just going to reply to the Minnesota check-in thread around 12:30 am tonight, when the power did indeed go out for about 30 seconds.

But it's up and running again!

Matt :)

3. Are you serious?

What a fine conspiracy theory this makes. Doubt it has too much to do with the KSTP story, but you never know. If it is, just further proof of the insanity of Bush's agenda.

(Edit:)
I guess I took to long to post before, just ignore this for now.

Co-worker said there has been no power outages tonight. None, at least, that he noticed.

6. A little bit creepy...
So after I posted, we had another brief outtage (about 2-3 minutes).

Then at about 3:30 am, it went out for a full hour! Just got back online.

I mean, we had some rain, but nothing extraordinary. Strange.

Keeping my fingers crossed so I can actually get some crap done,

Matt

7. I live in Uptown and I didn't notice any power outages.
If there were, I can guarantee that I wouldn't have made it to work because I would still be sleeping. :-)

9. My sister reports that her power has been out
since 3:00 am. She lives over by the Bryant Lake Bowl. I guess there was a green flash, and some trees started to smolder. I guess the Fire Dept and Xcel are on the scene right now.
