Just over a week out from our next scheduled meet up
And what does everyone think about being able to make it?

also, if I may make a suggestion for the meeting place, how about Amazing Thailand in uptown.

Ideas, thoughts, etc..

1. I'm up for it
I am not broke, but I am watching my pennies. So some place sort of cheap, or maybe better described as "not over-the-top expensive" works best for me.

2. Amazing Thailand would be VERY handy for me
I could just hop on a bus, Gus. (#6, #23,#17, #21, and #12 all pass nearby.)

Not a lot of parking, but there is parking nearby for those who don't mind walking a few blocks.

It has good food, a full bar, and a pleasant atmosphere.

6. I will have to eat and run
My mother is moving from assisted living to full nursing care, and my brothers and I are cleaning out her apartment, a monumental task.

15. You know, people, I'm thinking that I'd better bow out
The senior residence administrators have determined that Mom is no longer capable of living in assisted living, so she's been moved into full care. This means that my brothers and I have till the end of the month to clean out her apartment.

That doesn't sound like much, but even after having downsized from a large house, she still had way too much Stuff, so the process will take longer than the average apartment clean-out. We have to separate the worthwhile Stuff from the trash, and my brothers have already put in more time than I have. In addition, I will be mostly unavailable next weekend due to choir obligations, so I'd better get my work in this weekend.

Have fun!

16. I'm sorry about your Mom.
I have another friend who is going through this, only she's the one who has been moved from assisted living to a nursing home. In fact, that's where I'll be Saturday, visiting her at her new residence. I hope your mom is doing okay with this, my friend is pretty depressed about her situation.
