Former Sen. Weasel going to court
Norm Coleman is taking his tattered case to court to try to overturn the election of Sen. Al Franken.

His slimeball lawyer :puke: Fritz Knaak just said that "technically, we could ask to redo the entire recount."

What fucking planet did this guy just arrive from anyway? Watch the video here:

1. They can then pay for the entire recount themselves

2. No doubt he's still following his master's orders to be as obstructionist as possible
I see that Arnie Carlson has told him to concede - but what Republicans listen to Arnie anymore?

Maybe this is just Norm's way of keeping Laurie home. :puke:

3. At the press conference there was lots of cheering by big-wig GOPers to keep going
If they could drag this out for 6 years they would.

4. I think in the long run this is going to hurt the state Republicans
except for with real wing nuts.

6. I'd like to know who is backing him?
Who's the big money funding this? And how many do-overs does he get? I think people are sick of the whole thing and this just makes him look like the sore loser, slime weasel we all know he is anyway.

7. It's time to give up, Norm. It's over.
Remember that this state as a whole doesn't particularly like you, much less love you, or trust you, like they like they trusted Paul Wellstone. (Agree or Disagree with Wellstone, people trusted him as a man who kept his word to the end, and as a politician who fought tirelessly for what he believed was in the long-term best interests of Minnesota, and the U.S.A. That's why the people were a week away from awarding him a third term when he tragically passed away.)

It's over, Norm. According to state law and administrative procedure, every legal vote is in, decided, and counted. I thought that you, like the rest of us Minnesotans, would recognize that your only issue of any legal merit, the double-counted absentee ballot issue, if settled in you favor, still would not overcome Al Franken's lead. I thought that now, without any more legal legs to stand on, you would recognize this and concede today.

I don't think the state of MN is going to rally behind you on this, Norm. Your time is up.

I'll see you in hell, Norm. Al's back in Minnesota, and I have a feeling he's here to stay. You can go back to New York. Bye.

9. Norm is getting to be like
one of those old Japanese soldiers from WWII who hid in the jungle on Okinawa for 50 years, still fighting the war. Or thinking they were.

*Sigh* Give it up, Norm. It really is over.
