1. Not everyone burns gas for the fun of it.

Some people do use trucks for work. Many liberals have to use someone else's gas guzzling truck to haul stuff. I drive a Civic and had to borrow a buddy's Silverado for moving furniture.

3. Let s/he without carbon emissions cast the first stone....

As we are finding out it is not the vehicle, it is the fuel. I admit being disappointed in SUV and truck use for everyday things but they do serve a purpose. Just like the EV1 was prevented from going to production Honda quit making the CRX HF in which I got 55mpg highway and 48 city. Dang thing never got stuck in snow either.
