I saw Tom Paxton today.
Tom Paxton, The Chad Mitchell Trio, and the Kingston Trio were at Orchestra Hall today. They did a lot of the old anti-war and political parody songs. It was great. The songs were as timely today as they were 40 years ago.

2. I can't remember them all.
Some were: What Did You Learn In School Today?,Draft Dodger Rag, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, Johnny Comes Marching Home, and a few more. The original members of the Chad Mitchell trio performed and Tom joined both groups on some of their songs. I can't remember all the songs but it was great.

I performed a lot of those songs back in the 60s and 70s but there's nowhere to sing them today. Back then we were performing in a downtown nightclub and I would sneak in an anti-war song now and then. There were a few objections but not many.

3. ahhh.."What did you learn in school today"
Dear little boy of mine?
What did you learn in school today
Dear little boy of mine.

I learned that Washington never told a lie
I learned that soldiers seldom die
I learned that murders die for their crimes
Even if we make a mistake some times...

And that's what I learned in school today
That's what I learned in school.

Amazing I can still remember some of the lyrics, lo these mumble cough years later.
