Two MN DNC delegates interviewed on DEMOCRACY NOW!
Donna Cassutt and Charley Underwood, two DNC delegates for Kucinich, were interviewed by Amy Goodman on today's Democracy Now! program (July 27 2004). Visit www.democracynow.org to download the show and hear the interviews. They are near the beginning of the first hour, I'm told.

1. Well I saw a chick passing out the pinkslip for Bush napkins ealier
I have also seen quite a few peace signs.

I think that some Kucinich folks just want to be a wet blanket.

2. Go check the GD:2004 threads about this
These are no "wet blanket" people-- they are genuinly expressing themselves (and the wishes of most Democrats and Americans, btw) on the convention floor.

The pink bandanas were out in force on Tues and Wed night, but the incident(s) on Democracy Now! happenned on MONDAY. Both of these delegates are friends of mine, and I've worked with both of them and know them. I even sold a guitar to Charley earlier this year! And I seriously doubt either of them would make something like this up, and then tell Amy Goodman about it on the floor of the convention.

BTW, Charley was the lone dissenting voice in the MN delegation when the vote came. I would imagine part of this was due to the disrespectful treatment he received by the security people and some of the delegates.

Now I know. Good for him.
