Go Tigers!
We're all behind our baseball team
Go get 'em Tigers
World Series bound and picking up steam
Go get 'em Tigers
There'll be joy in Tiger Town the whole night long...
when the Bengals bring the pennant home to where it belongs...
We're all behind our baseball team
Go get 'em
Detroit Tigers!
Go get 'em Tigers!!!!!

2. Don't know it...
The song is from some old record put out back in 1968. My boyfriend got it for me on CD.

3. A Blast From The Past!
I remember that song from '68, and there was another one that came out just before the World Series that went "St. Lou, we're gonna sock it to you."

Which we did!:)

They used to play the daylights out of it. And the broadcasters were Ray Lane and Ernie Harwell! Gosh I miss Ernie!

7. I remember Ray Lane in the press box too
and the Marathon commercial. When you're on the road, ride with marathon... I remember when that new guy came along too. What was his name. Oh yeah. Paul Carey. One of the greatest radio voices ever.

5. Well the whole thing starts with a kittenish women's voice
saying, "Go GET 'em Tigers!!!! Mrrrroww!"

For some reason, they had this at our local CD store in Seattle, and the BF got it for me (now he's sorry!) and I play it for baseball season.

6. I remember the "Bless You Boys!" song
1984 I guess (I was only 11!) It was a very exciting time, especially for a kid!
