Last night, I went to hear a Seger tribute band that my friend and former band mate Kirk belongs to. Some of the guys in the band host a Wednesday jam night, and yours truly sat in for a set with some other jammers.

The best part of the evening, however, was one Alto Reed showing up. He performed several tunes with Lookin' Back. I stood on the dance floor about 6 feet away from him as he blew the first notes of "Turn The Page." There is nothing like the sound and power that he generates from that horn.

Anyway, if you need a Seger fix, check these guys out.

This Friday, March 12th at Tina's. Charity event for Macomb Shelter. Alto Reed is expected to sit in with the guys, and I here tell from Kirk there may be a surprise guest or two from SBB.
