99% chance John will be outside the 3/11 Patrick rally.

3. still working on attending
we're both hoping to be able to attend the Patrick rally ... and it would be great to have a chance to chat with Bonifaz ...

i liked the letter he just distributed very much but i also thought it could be a little stronger ... i think Bonifaz has two challenges: one is that nobody has ever heard of him; the second is that most people don't think the Sec. of State actually does anything ...

Bonifaz has a great story to tell but i think he's got to get the "i'll be an activist Sec. of State" message more prominent in his literature and in his campaign ... the mailing he just did gave numerous examples of John's activism but it did NOT make that important point right in the introductory paragraph ... if John is going to be able to overcome Galvin's name recognition and tenure, he's got to make a compelling case why "the old tried and true" is not the best we can do ...

I'm trying to get my town's DTC to agree to invite him to speak to our group ... I'll be raising this issue at our next meeting ...

4. Bonifaz spoke to my town's DTC a couple of months ago.
I hadn't heard of him before then, and I was quite impressed. I really liked what he had to say.
