Weekly picket Friday at Kerry's office. Friday, 4:30PM
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 01:24 PM by paineinthearse
Kerry's Senate website says his office address is

One Bowdoin Square
Tenth Floor
Boston, MA 02114
(617) 565-8519

Just a reminder of the weekly picket Friday at Kerry's office.

Along with the rest of the Democratic establishment Kerry has
pushed Tammy Duckworth in the Illinois 6th Congressional District over
Chrsitine Cegelis, a PDA-endorsed candidate. Now Cegelis, as far as I
can see from her web site and I am sorry to say, is not a strong
antiwar candidate; she is not an Out Now candidate and does not stress
the war in her campaign. But Duckworth is far worse; she has NO
position on the war. And I can guarantee that any non-incumbent who
makes so much as a peep about immediate withdrawal will get stiffed by
Kerry, Democrat neocon, Rahm Emmanuel who heads the DCCC, Barak Obama,
Howard Dean and the rest of the corrupt claque who are pushing
Duckworth. Kerry's hypocrisies are stumbling over one another they
come so rapidly.

Publicity: If you have people who think should be added to this list,
please let me know.

See you at 4:30.

Best,
jw

2. I was going to say...
A but more subtly, perhaps... but you are concise.

This seems to go a bit beyond healthy primary competition.

The line that designates "eating one's own" looks to have been crossed here.

Are we seeing Dem VS Dem dirty politics, or something more sinister?

Calling Kerry a NeoCon smells of the latest (and really stupid) Right Wing tactic of blaming Dems for Bush*'s policies.

No offense on Paine though. I know it wasn't his intention to be divisive...

3. These are not my words. Please DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER.

I am relaying a message about this ongoing civil action. These words were written by the organizer.

A high percentage of my posts are news found from the web and other sources. I don't necessarily support Edwards or Clark, but post news of their local events.

I also recently posted news about a Marty Meehan town hall meeting. I would like to see our junior senator engage the public in a discussion on his solutuion to end the war.

The last public forum he gave that I am aware of was at Brown University, some six months ago. Prior to that it was Mechanics Hall in Worcester, perhaps 1-2 years ago?

If you disagree, speak to the issue. Please DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER.

4. I hear ya...
That's why I want to make clear that I don't consider that this action reflects back upon you in any way...

I've read enough of your posts to know that you are very active and would naturally relay all calls for civil action.

You have always been inspirational in your tireless work getting folks off the couch and getting them involved.

Here's to your efforts!

6. I understand.
Perhaps you should put a disclaimer on them then? Just so we don't think YOU are saying this.

Because quite frankly, you almost wound up on my ignore list for posting this crap.
