From anti-gay fag-hag Marxist Brian Camenker at Article 8 Alliance:
=== 3. Nanny state: Gov. Romney proposes "mandatory parental preparation classes for parents of kids in failing schools." ===
Back in October, we listened to the homosexual activists and Planned Parenthood lobby testify at a State House public hearing that there must not be an "opt-in" law for sexuality programs because parents are not competent enough to make the right decisions for their kids (we have that on tape, which we'll be posting).
The other night, I listened to our Republican governor tell the Legislature, in his "State of the State" address, that if schools aren't performing right, it's the parents' fault. And the State needs to step in and improve the parents.
"One thing I have heard from our teachers needs to be said: there is no school that can overcome failure in the home. Teachers tell me time and again that the most important ingredient for a child's success is the involvement of parents. That's why I will propose, again, mandatory parental preparation classes for parents of kids in failing schools."
Pardon me? It's the parents' fault??? What about getting the schools to improve? (Well, Romney has a solution for that, too: give them more money. Thanks a lot.)
