OK, good news. The family has eliminated the coastal towns.
One look at the prices of RE changed their mind in a hurry.

Tell me a little about the Medfield, Sharon, Norwood, Millis areas or other towns nearby. If you know anything about any of them, please jot me a quick reply. School systems are also very important. I have called every C of C and many town offices. There is not much real unbiased info that I can find.
I'll do the work, just not familiar with the towns. I'd drive that way and look around but we've got a 3 day monster snow storm upon us.

Thanks

1. I have friends in Franklin with young kids, and they love it there
They think the schools are great, and it's near the RI border. You may also want to check out Bellingham and Mendon, which are fairly close to RI and appear to have good schools.
