Pint-sized thugs try to rob man with cap gun, police say
By adamg - Thu, 11/15/2007 - 11:08am.

Boston Police report arresting three people yesterday evening in Dorchester on charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon and attempted robbery - aged 11, 13 and 14.

Police say that around 6:50 p.m., yesterday, a man reported an attempted robbery attempt at Dorchester Avenue and Faulkner Street:

The victim stated that he was walking home from the train station when he observed three black males approaching him. Two of the suspects walked past him, but the third stopped in front of him, reached into his pocket and pulled out a firearm. At this point, the suspect pointed the gun at the victim and demanded money. The victim, however, ignored the suspect and kept on walking. Officers placed the victim in the rear of a marked Boston Police cruiser and began to search the area for the suspects. As officers were driving on Ditson Street, the victim said, "There they go."

Police recovered a black cap gun they think was the weapon shown to the victim.
