1. UPDATE to Kerry's forum in Natick
The LOCATION has changed for the Saturday, June 16 Metrowest Community Forum on Iraq.

It will now be held in the Walnut Hill School, 12 Highland St., Natick.

For more information please go to natickdems.org/kerryforum.html; to RSVP, please go to natickdems.org/rsvp.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 3:30pm.; event starts promptly at 4:00pm.

3. I wonder why at Walnut Hill School? It's a private school.
Why not at Natick High School?? :shrug:

4. I believe there were costs involved with the first school
And the Natick DTC didn't have the money to pay for this.

6. It's actually a big deal
My husband is on school committee in another town and budgets are squeezed as tight as they can be. It costs money to have the janitorial crew come in and there are standard costs for electricity and so forth. There are union contracts with school employees that spell out what you pay for overtime and so forth that have to be honored.

It is not that easy to just get a hall. Not with the tight school budgets that I see in Massachusetts. This is a real shame, but it is also real.
